据道琼斯7月16日消息，康明斯公司表示，公司与雪佛龙美国公司签署了一份谅解备忘录，以开发氢和其他替代能源的商业可行性。
该谅解备忘录为雪佛龙和康明斯在四个主要目标上的初步合作提供了框架。这四个主要目标是:推进公共政策，促进将氢作为交通和工业脱碳的解决方案;建立商用车辆和氢动力工业应用的市场需求;发展用于工业和燃料电池汽车的氢基础设施;并考虑在雪佛龙的一家或多家国内炼油厂使用康明斯电解槽和燃料电池技术。
