据天然气加工网站7月27日报道，韩国S-Oil表示，由于全球经济活动和流动性增加，运输燃料需求旺盛，预计公司炼油利润率将在第三季度反弹。
S-Oil是韩国第三大炼油商，其主要股东是沙特国有石油公司沙特阿美。
S-Oil周二宣布，二季度营业利润为5710亿韩元(合4.96亿美元)。
二季度炼油业务的营业利润为1525亿韩元，销售额为4.85万亿韩元。
由此利润率为3.1%，低于第一季度的9%，但高于上年同期的负13.8%。
该公司表示，4月至6月期间，其位于蔚山的日产66.9万桶炼厂的原油蒸馏装置平均产能为98.8%，高于一季度的94.4%。日前S-Oil的股价早盘上涨3.1%，而大盘上涨0.8%。

S-Oil expects Q3 refining margins to rebound align="justify"> South Korea's S-Oil Corp said that refining margins are expected to rebound in the third quarter, driven by high demand for transport fuels because of an increase in global economic activities and mobility.
S-Oil is the country's third-largest oil refiner and its main shareholder is state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco.
S-Oil reported align="justify"> Operating income in the second quarter at its oil refining business was 152.5 billion won from revenue of 4.85 trillion won.
That resulted in a profit margin of 3.1%, down from 9% in the first quarter but higher than minus 13.8% in the same period a year ago.
The company said it operated the crude distillation units at its 669,000 barrels-per-day refinery in the southeastern city of Ulsan at 98.8% of capacity align="justify"> Shares of S-Oil were up 3.1% as of morning trade, while the wider market was trading 0.8% higher.
