据《能源年》8月20日雅加达报道，印尼政府机构周三表示，印尼上游监管机构SKK Migas已批准英国石油公司Tangguh液化天然气项目下一阶段的计划。
该开发项目包括从Ubadari油田和Vorwata提高天然气采收率项目，使天然气产量增加431亿立方米（1.52万亿立方英尺）。
BP计划利用碳捕集、利用和储存技术，将Tangguh项目的碳排放量减少45%，并将捕获的碳用于支持政府的强化天然气采收率活动。
Tangguh LNG于2009年开始生产，首批扩建计划于2016年获得批准。BP的合同将于2035年到期。

Indonesia’s SKK Migas has approved BP’s plans for the next phase of the Tangguh LNG project, the government agency said align="justify"> The development includes producing another 43.1 bcm (1.52 tcf) of gas from the Ubadari field and the Vorwata enhanced gas recovery project.
BP intends to use carbon capture, utilisation and storage technology to reduce carbon emissions associated with the Tangguh project by 45%, with captured carbon used to support the government’s enhanced gas recovery campaign.
Tangguh LNG began production in 2009 and first expansion plans were approved in 2016. BP’s contract finishes in 2035.
