中国石化新闻网讯 据《能源年》11月1日马普托报道，意大利能源巨头埃尼集团(Eni)已启动其莫桑比克液化天然气项目的生产，使这个东非国家进入了全球液化天然气生产国的行列。
Coral South号浮式液化天然气船的第一批液化气将很快发货，根据一项为期20年的协议，这批货物将出售给英国石油公司。
该项目预计每年液化340万吨天然气。
这家意大利能源巨头在第三季度财报中公布了这家初创公司的消息。该项目由埃尼公司运营，液化来自海上第4区块承租区的天然气。该承租区由埃尼与合作伙伴埃克森美孚(ExxonMobil)、葡萄牙Galp、韩国Kogas和莫桑比克国有企业ENH共同持有。
Coral South号于今年1月抵达作业地点，并于6月向该FLNG船注入天然气。

Mozambique becomes LNG producer with Eni’s Coral South launch
Eni has launched production from its Mozambique LNG project, bringing the East African country into the league of global LNG producers.
The initial shipment of liquefied gas from the Coral South FLNG vessel is to be made soon, with cargoes sold to BP under a 20-year deal.
The project is expected to liquefy 3.4 million tonnes per year.
The Italian energy giant unveiled the start-up news in its Q3 results. The company operates the project, which liquefies gas from the offshore Area 4 concession, held by Eni along with partners ExxonMobil, Galp, Kogas and Mozambique’s state-owned ENH.
The Coral South arrived at its operating site in January, and gas was introduced to the FLNG vessel in June.
