中国石化新闻网讯 据油气新闻网11月9日报道，科威特外交部长Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah在联合国气候峰会COP27和目前在埃及沙姆沙伊赫举行的中东绿色倡议峰会期间表示，科威特致力于到2050年在油气部门实现碳中和，到2060年在其他部门实现碳中和。
Sheikh Salem表示，科威特已经执行了许多环保和减少排放的项目。
他表示，自1992年第一届气候大会在巴西首都召开以来，科威特一直坚持该国做出的所有承诺，直到2015年巴黎气候大会。

Kuwait is committed to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in oil and gas sector and in other sectors by 2060, said its Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah>Kuwait has executed many projects to preserve the environment and reduce emissions, stated Sheikh Salem while talking to Kuna.
Kuwait, he stated, sticks to all the commitments it made since the launching of the first climate conference in the Brazilian capital in 1992 all the way to the Paris conference in 2015.
"One of the UN summit's goals is to encourage world countries to announce specific dates to reach carbon neutrality, indicating that Kuwait had pledged to reach that objective by 2050," he added.
