中国石化新闻网讯 据eodigital.com网站2023年3月6日新德里报道，印度石油天然气公司（ONGC）周一在推特上表示，ONGC已与法国能源巨头道达尔能源公司签署了一份关于深水区块勘探的谅解备忘录。
作为世界第三大石油进口国和消费国，印度85%以上的石油从海外进口。印度希望迅速将其石油和天然气资源货币化，以减少对昂贵原油和石油产品进口的依赖。
这份谅解备忘录旨在为ONGC推动探索和减少深水区块开发中的温室气体排放提供技术帮助，特别是位于印度东海岸的默哈讷迪和安达曼。
ONGCs勘探主管Sushma Rawat表示：“我们将共同评估这些深水区块的勘探和开发机会，与当地经济创造协同效应。”
ONGC去年与美国石油巨头埃克森美孚公司签署了在印度东西海岸进行深水勘探的协议。
ONGC与埃克森美孚公司的合作主要集中在位于印度东部近海地区的克里希纳-戈达瓦里盆地和高韦里盆地，以及位于西部近海地区的Kutch-Mumbai地区。
