据世界天然气网9月8日消息 丹麦航运巨头A.P. Moller马士基已决定投资加州WasteFuel公司,这是一家专注于将废物转化为可持续航空燃料、绿色生物甲醇和可再生天然气的初创公司。
这项投资是通过马士基增长公司进行,马士基增长公司是马士基A.P.Moller的企业风险投资子公司。

Maersk invests in US startup to secure green bio-methanol production
Danish shipping major A.P. Moller – Maersk has decided to invest in California-based WasteFuel, a start-up focused align="justify"> This investment is made through Maersk Growth, the corporate venture arm of A.P. Moller – Maersk.
As explained, the investment will enable WasteFuel to develop biorefineries that utilise the most effective technologies available to produce sustainable fuels from unrecoverable waste that would otherwise degrade, and release methane and other harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
“Maersk is confident that green bio-methanol is align="justify"> The announcement comes two weeks after Maersk ordered a total of eight large ocean-going container vessels capable of being operated align="justify"> The vessels will be built at South Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), with deliveries scheduled to start in Q1 2024.
